Update: Purview Sensitivity Labels & inforcer user management

Policy support for Purview Sensitivity Labels, and improvements to inforcer user management

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Release date: 04/12/2025

πŸ§‘β€βœˆοΈ Purview Sensitivity Labels

In addition to Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies supported recently, we now support Purview Sensitivity Label policies within the inforcer platform, including support for creating labels, and publishing policies. This includes our standard policy capabilities available in the platform, including deployment, viewing, renaming, and removal.

Purview Sensitivity Labels provide powerful mechanisms to add additional protection to sensitive documents such as encryption and additional access control mechanisms, and are often deployed as part of Copilot readiness projects.

For more information, please review the docs here.

Note: in a follow-up release, we're planning support for Auto-labelling policies, also. Stay tuned!

πŸ‘₯ inforcer User Management

You can now create and manage non-SSO users in the inforcer platform. Available to Admins, you can access this functionality under Configure > Users when logged in.

This includes the ability to create, view, update, and delete users, as well as disable, reset MFA, and reset passwords. Full activity logging is available for actions taken on users.
